“So, how can I afford to attend this conference?”
                                     Work on a committee!!

Each committee chair will log the hours that each committee member works. This includes attending committee meetings, working on various tasks (planning, working shifts at the conference, putting packets together, etc.) These hours will go towards reimbursing you for your conference registration. You will pay your registration fee up front and get reimbursed AFTER the conference for the hours you have worked. Many local workers will have enough hours to cover all of their registration costs! So…..Contact one (or more) of the committee chairs listed above and let them know you’d like to help!

Crafty? Know of someone who is?

We are in need of crafters and sewers to help put together items that we are making for the Boutique at the Spokane conference. They need not be chapter members…we’ll take anyone that’s willing to give of their time…perhaps family or friends that would like to help.

We also need donations of yarn and fleece. We will be making yarn and fleece balls and these materials can be ‘spendy’. New or leftovers…either is fine! We can write you a letter of donation for your taxes!

We are putting together packets of simple, tried & true, original lessons (not ones from presenters that have come to Spokane). Have a lesson to share? Write it up and send it in!

Also, there will be a silent auction section of the boutique. If you know of a vendor or private citizen that might donate a painting, sculpture, instrument, etc, let us know.

Can you help? Got questions? Contact Gail Sherrodd: riverviewcabin@yahoo.com
